The Grievance Redressal Cell of RCCIIT is functioning with regard to AICTE guidelines of grievance redressal mechanism to properly address student and other stakeholder's grievances received directly through institute Grievance Redressal Portal (https://grievance.rcciit.edu.in/) . The objective of the Grievance Redressal Cell is to develop a responsive and accountable system to settle the grievances of the students and other stakeholders within a reasonable time period for further strengthening the bond of the students with the institute and maintain a harmonious and transparent academic ambience.
RCC Institute of Information Technology (RCCIIT) was set up in 1999 by the erstwhile Regional Computer Centre (RCC), Calcutta (in JU) as a unique joint venture of NIC, Ministry of Communication & IT, Govt. of India and Dept. of Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal. In 2003 the lead role of management of RCCIIT was transferred to the State Govt. from Govt. of India.
